We are currently accepting applications for Camera System Operators, but due to Covid-19 are currently on hold to hire and train new staff. If you would like to submit a resume we will gladly hold on to them and contact applicants as soon as we can open our offices back up to guests. We have part-time hours available daytime and evenings on Friday and Saturday. Hourly rate starts at $10.50, may be higher based on experience. Camera System Operators
A high school diploma (or GED) and proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft suite of office software is required. Security or law enforcement experience is helpful although comprehensive training is provided. Selected candidates will be trained to operate video equipment with proficiency. Qualified applicants will be able to watch multiple video monitors while responding to radio/scanner communications and relaying timely and accurate information via telephone to emergency personnel. S/he will also be able to remain calm and set priorities in emergency situations. S/he will have a high attention to detail on all video review and evidence paperwork. All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening a criminal background check and the PA Child Abuse History Clearance. Individuals having at least one year Lancaster City residency and/or excellent knowledge of city streets and locations are preferred.
